Somkiat Kulawattanaporn, was a competitive snooker player in Thailand with an obsession for wood crafts and making his own cues. Fondly known as O, he made his passion his profession in the Minburi province in Bangkok, and OMIN Cues was born. Not long after, the praise for his craftsmanship spread far and wide, and OMIN cues reached the hands of Thai professional snooker players.

OMIN’s Hunter model stands as his signature creation among a portfolio of over ten unique designs. It signifies his commitment to excellence, personally overseeing the selection, testing, and guaranteeing the playability of each Hunter Cue.

The cue shaft is made from silky smooth AAA grade ash wood that glides through your hand for a smooth cue action. Every piece of ash wood selected passes the quality checks of over 10 professional cue makers to commence the process. With perfect grains and chevrons, it provides the best sighting when down on a shot, making it easier to aim and pot balls.

The cue is exquisitely hand spliced 12 times with a combination of Rare Genuine Black & White Ebony, Birds Eye Maple and Black Ebony. Black & White Ebony, native to Southeast Asia, is an exotic hardwood known for its dramatic contrast of dark black streaks against a creamy white to golden background. OMIN has very limited stock of this rare wood, and once this stock is gone, it’s gone. A thin layer of resin coats the wood splices to ensure that the cue butt is protected and maintains its shine and performance through years of rigorous use.

The one-piece construction of the cue gives a player the ultimate feel for the shot compared to cues with joints. These limited-edition cues are hand-fitted with an OMIN professional medium 9.75mm tip, perfect for precision cue ball control in Snooker.
